ABOUT ME
Experienced. Insured. Supportive.
From a very early age I had a great interest in emotional well-being, so as soom as the right opportunity presented itself, I began training to be a counsellor.
During my studies I completed a placement with Womens Aid, specialising in domestic and sexual trauma & abuse. I returned to them after I qualified, so have a great deal of experience in this area.
I undertake Continual Professional Development and add to my portfolio of skills every year.

How I work

I specialise in online and telephone counselling
I have an eclectic approach and integrative way of working. Which means I use a variety of methodologies and philosophies in clinical practice to bring about a more holistic approach which I think makes the process of therapy more accessible, beneficial and successful. My main way of working is to offer you a collaborative journey in self awareness and of being in the moment. It is the art of noticing what is present physically, emotionally, cognitively, relationally without judgement, with a curiosity to learn from noticing established patterns in behaviour. This can lead to a new understanding of oneself and positive change if desired.

I am fully qualified, experienced and insured. A registered member of the BACP and an accredited member of the National Counselling Society, at all times adhering to their ethical guidelines.

The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and National Counselling Society (NCS) are accrediting bodies that set out high standards and codes of ethics that all reputable therapists are expected to adhere to.
